Ive only got 5 teams done, but early on I flip the common/bronze/silver cards until I essentially get them for free. Up to 85k stubs from the original 30 and have packed Yelich and Freeman so far

I'm only 29 teams away.
I'm doing collections in the next week or two after the market settles a little bit and I get a few more stubs.Anybody got a calculation how many stubs it'll cost?

I always spend money to start the year. I spent the same last year and got Mays. This year is a lot more expensive. I know one person who has Mantle, but I don’t think he’s on this forum.
I will grind the rest. I was at 10 teams away and just knocked out the other three just playing.
I need a good pull though. Help a brother out pack gods!!

Youtubers went nuts man. Almost all the youtubers opened their wallets to get mantle.

I know one big 2k YouTuber that made the move to the Show (shake4andbake). If you guys come across him, he is a really good dude. Welcome him if he shows up here.
The guy I know that did it isn’t even a YouTuber. He was a big 2k guy and bought Mantle day one. We both joked about doing it, I didn’t think he actually would.

Well that makes sense. I won't spend money, that's me, I would rather grind it out and feel a bit more accomplished.

I won't have him forever tbh. Not spending money on the game this year, I've gone down that rabbit hole before. What I complete will be from the market, flipping cards and any lucky pulls from free packs.

I get it, I wasn't going to buy this year because last year was my first DD year and I loved it and wanted to try and accomplish everything, but once I saw The Mick, I was all over it. Still trying to learn certain aspects to progress quicker, but it's all fun for the reward.

I certainly hope to eventually get him, but know it will be slow at this point. I had Mays and Honus last year. Just planning to take it slow. Still working on my strategy since we can’t sell collected cards. Won’t spend on this game but don’t mind the people that do. They spend and it helps us too, in a way, in its impact on market. And it puts money in SDS pocket (that isn’t my money) to keep them making a good oroduct

It seems like diamond prices are lower than previous years. With BR/events and stuff, most diamonds are relatively cheap. It’s probably relative though because of the lack of quick selling. I’ve been using the TA cards because they’re really good. I’ve sold off all pack pulls and event winnings and have about 230k (athletics white Sox and royals done so far). Trying to decide if I want to take the plunge on Trout now.

I’m in the same boat, about 250k stubs and trying to decide on Trout (only other LS I have is Mookie). I’ve had no pack luck so far, so may wait a bit.
