Question
I have a ps4 now but think I’m gonna end up getting a ps5 later in the year. Which version of the game should I get. Are there any versions that are compatible with both the ps4 and ps5?

The upgraded versions all have the ps4 versions of the game and ps5 entitlements via a code. Those would be your route.

That being said, I would use caution until the details are confirmed. I read somewhere that if you purchase a disk copy for ps4 with a ps5 entitlement code, the ps5 would require you to have the ps4 disk inserted to play the game. This is supposedly to stop PS5 owners from purchasing a dual version, and turning around and selling the PS4 copy privately. However, I've not been able to find any information on what happens if you purchase a PS5 without the disk drive. Where would they expect you to put the disk?

Seems like an oversight. I'm about to make a thread regarding this question.

All other games released as disc with a free PS5 upgrade have required the disc to be inserted into the PS5 for the digital upgrade PS5 version to work. This will be no different to those.
