I'm looking to replace the 99 Finest Dinelson Lamet for my world series push, and have narrowed my search down to two players.

I've saved up 960k stubs and have completed all of the major collections (e.g. Trout and Mantle), so conserving stubs isn't a necessity.

Any other pitcher ideas are also appreciated.

    Current Rotation:

    Prestige Walter Johnson
    99 Clayton Kershaw
    99 Bauer
    99 Lamet
    99 Nate Pearson

Out of those two Jake Arrieta, assuming you play online. If you play against the CPU only, Verlander is the way to go.

Tom Seaver has been clutch for me, both of your options weren’t very good for me and I sold them, you’ll be able to recoup a lot of your stubs if you don’t like them...also I think finest degrom is a definite try

I haven't tried Arrieta. But I have hit him well when I face him. I've had Verlander for about 5 starts. Hes good at the lower levels of All Star against guys who struggle against 100mph. But I think in the 600s, he will get hit hard. I dont know if he will be good in HOF, but I'm going to give him a try. However, looking at your rotation, I'd say you need Lefty Grove. He throws harder than Verlander or Arrieta and imo, his other pitches are superior to those guys. Hes the only lefty with outlier, so hes weird to face.

Edit: I have Verlander and Lamet as my 4 and 5. Was considering replacing one of them with Pearson. How do you like him? Is he worth the conquest grind to get him?

I’m a jays fan so I’ve had him from the start and he has a sub 3 era and averages about 2k an inning. I have him prestiged..I think he’s an end gamer, but his mix is very basics..again, I’m a jays fan, but his 102 fastball and 95 slider are deadly when you mix in an 83mph curve and 90mph change up
