Two questions.

IF there are only X number of cards in the Ducks on the Pond packs, why do you get some many through the programs? What's the point? Providing cards to sell?

How do you complete the finest series? I have opened 8-9 packs in a row that have had the three players in them. WTH?

Yeah, you can sell them, the base and mid-round is a quick and easy 5k.

Most of the finest cards are found in stage 4 team affinity, I'd imagine you probably aren't very far into that

For the finest cards, there’s 30 of them, one for each team, that are attained by completing team affinity stage 4.
The finest packs contain additional 17 finest cards that are only found in the packs. There are also guaranteed rare finest packs which always has the same three cards, which makes them cheaper than the common cards due to how easy it is to get the rare packs.
There are also flashback finest cards from previous year in the game which you can obtain in a variety of ways, like Jose Ramirez through prestige XP reward path, Josh hader through the run it back packs, Bellinger/Josh Bell through the events, and Arenado/Marte/Lindor by locking in finest cards in the collections.
