Prestige FOTF Pitchers

So for those guys who have worked to prestige most players, is Prestige Burnett remotely usable in RS? My gut says no, but I always try to prestige guys in events and have pretty much everyone done with exception of Burnett, Palmer, and Smoltz. I am working on Burnett and he is taking quite a routine beating ( which doesn’t really matter as I have 75 wins), but if he is worthless, I just may abort.
Thoughts on Palmer and Smoltz welcome too, but I have a hard time feeling they are any better.

As someone who has never prestiged a card (lol) don't do Smoltz. By far the worst 99 I've ever used.

LOL, when TA 3 FOTF guys were first released and I started working to prestige, I quickly abandoned Smoltz, as like you said, he is awful. Leiter, Hershiser, Wood, Marichal prestige cards are still often used by me from that group. ( I finished Henke too and he is terrible as well.).

Yep used him 0-2 19.00 Era

I actually did really well with Palmer, a 4.24 era without using events to get him prestiged. Smoltz is around an 8.79, not good at all really. Burnett can do well against lesser players but if you face someone decent he is BP.
-
Burnett will only work against bad hitters, I prestiged him and don’t see anything that makes him useable this late in the cycle
-
Burnett>Palmer>Smoltz IMO. Burnett can be tough to control
-
Palmer is a beast and I think his 12-6 is the best Curve in the game.
Prestige Marichal is a secret don't tell anyone about it.

Marichal gets a velo boost when prestiged, but it doesn't make him Nolan Ryan. I played a guy with Prestige Marichal yesterday. I was worried about the speed differential between the FB and the junk, but luckily the guy wouldn't throw the slow stuff in the zone. So I just waited for FBs and lit him up
