PS 5 Issues?

Got PS 5 for Christmas I downloaded MLB The Show 2020 from my PS 4,,havent been able to make solid contact hitting and my pitchers are getting rocked. Think im throwing good pitches but control isn't what it was on PS 4. Anybody else finding this an issue?

there was another guy that posted a while ago saying that he has been playing like crud since switching over to the ps5. I'm waiting for my ps5 to ship but it might just be needing time to adjust or something

I'm having some serious issues as well. Did some research and there's a thread on here about input lag. It could be a couple of things:
- issues with the ps5 controller - use the ps4 controller instead. 2. use game mode on your tv (if applicable). 3. don't run the ps5 through a sound bar (arc).
Thats pretty much the gist of what I've read. I haven't had a chance to try the recommended solutions yet but let me know if you have any luck.

I was the one that started a thread a week or so ago I believe it is title “Getting destroyed since using PS5” some good comments there if you wanted to read.
Basically the most important thing is go to the PS5 settings (not the game settings) click on Saved Data and game/App Settings. Then go to Game Presets. Under game presets you want Performance mode NOT resolution.
Then in the mlb game itself at the menu go to audio video and select faster out of the three options there.
This put me right back on track as myself a few others on here and a couple of my Call of Duty buddies were experiencing a timing issue. This fixed it, let us know if this also resolved your issue! Merry Christmas

Yup I was actively posting in that thread and did everything @Oachs83 said. No more problems anymore

I was also actively posting in the other thread and offered a somewhat different solution, but with a 100% success guarantee rate. Sell me your PS5, for which I will pay you retail price and shipping costs, and go back to using the PS4.
