Tried him out in the event, and man is he awful. Got raked every time he went out there. Then again, since the event is on all star, every pitcher is awful. Every player swings at everything and either connects or fouls off pitches. til gifted an RNG hanger. Is Arrieta awful in Ranked Seasons as well or should i cut bait and sell him?

can't be as bad as Finest Nick Anderson. The guy gets lit up every single time!

I'm always amused why people think events are a good way to test out pitchers.

It seems like all the finest pitchers get lit up. All the batters released since October have been mashers and all the pitchers have been garbage (with the possible exception of Lefty Grove)

I just wanted to share my amusement. But don't take it personally, you're hardly the only one who posted this before. I guess my constructive feedback would be to not judge him based on event performance but play a couple of RS games yourself and see how it works out.

Appreciate it. Been getting my brains bashed in on the hill. Guess I’ll see how he does on Hall of Fame difficulty in Ranked. Kind of scared to now with how he got lit up. I know events are a mash fest, but usually I’m able to see flashes of competence in pitchers. Not Arrieta though.
