Custom Stadiums

Just thought that why don’t you guys have custom stadiums like other sports games? They would haven’t to be to extreme on the changes but it would be cool to design your own outfield wall. I would like to have it where you could put team logos where you want. Also set the distances of the outfield walls(not to extreme like 390-420 to center). But i would love to see custom stadiums in the game!

If they did implement this, it likely wouldn't be for Diamond Dynasty at first.(lag concerns) However it is something that would be great for Franchise mode and I hope they eventually make this available for all mode!

I would try it in franchise first

The distances on the outfield walls is the only reason they haven’t added it yet. You know why all the other sports games have create-a-stadium? Because a football field, basketball court, soccer field, and hockey rink are always the same size. I would be fine with custom fields in Franchise, but it is the last thing that should ever touch DD. Think Shippett is bad, wait for a custom stadium that is 300 down the lines with high altitude

Even if they limited what dimensions you could use, what’s stopping someone from using a cheesy batter’s eye so you can’t see the ball when they are pitching? If they can’t find a way to eliminate all cheese from a create-a-stadium feature I am all for it, but if they can’t it should be a franchise only feature

I think in theory this is a neat idea, but in practice it will be awful.
Sds cant even have an MLB park without lag, let alone custom parks.
I think it would be a neat feature to add into franchise. Relocating a building or replacing an aging stadium as part of your overhead would be interesting.
