Flexibility in scheduling??

Why would the leagues be designed where every member has to join before you can move to the regular season? That is the opposite of flexible scheduling. If I create an 8 man league and 6 of us have the game and have accepted league invites, we cannot advance to the regular season and begin playing each other until the other 2 members join? Why couldn't it have been designed that those other spots not accepted yet could have been CPU placeholders.....Really doesn't make sense to me and our league is already frustrated.

There is a workaround. Invite a friend to the league... then kick him. That team becomes CPU controlled. Then once your other friends have the game, invite them and then they take control of the CPU team.

Definitely a worthy frustration, but “flexible scheduling” is more about the playing of the games rather than the setting up of the league. Once your members have accepted their invites you’ve got that to look forward to
