Ranked Season Rules

I haven't played much RS until lately due to the WS event becoming so stale. Therefore I've never made it to the levels where this is even a concern. When does the difficulty change from AS to HOF? Also, is it if both players are at that level or do you play the level of difficulty for the highest or lowest ranked player?
I've searched on the game and the interwebs but I can't find anything. Thanks!

700 rating games start being HOF.
You play based on lowest rating.
If you're both 700 & up it's automatically on HOF.
If your opponent is at 699 and you're at 700, it's on All Star.

I’m pretty sure AS transitions to HOF at wild card and you always play at the difficulty of the lower rated player. So if your on HOF and your opponent is on AS then the game will be on AS and vice versa.

Is there any way to see the opponents rating during the game? I know it shows you afterwards.

I think you can check on this website if I’m not mistaken. Don’t know how though.

Unfortunately, there is no way to do so, rating seems to be exclusively a in-game thing. All you can see on here is W-L record.

I came in here ready for a fight after reading that subject line. False alarm, backing out now
