Since my team is set, except for Griffey Jr and maybe Mays, I have nothing to spend my stubs on; so I haven't checked the market for awhile.
I just checked it, looking to see what my son could buy for his team, and noticed that Max Scherzer has dropped to 6-9K!
When did this happen?
Wondering if I should tell him to go after Mantle; since the only two roadblocks he needs are Trout and DeGrom.
He has about 400K in stubs after selling his 9th Inn pick and could probably get at least another 200K if he sells off who he 'needs' to lock in for Mondesi and J-Ram.

This just happened to me the other week. I decided to finish the collections since prices were that low. I'd say tell him to go for it! Mantle, Biggio, and Sheffield are all fun cards to use. Not to mention other guys like Billy Wagner for completing AL west collection are useful in the bullpen as well!
