    To all the above responses

    1. My very vocal elderly cat, who I swear recognizing when I’m about to start game, started whining and poking me the second the game started, which is why I asked for the friendly

    2. Isn’t waiting for the timer in and of itself a shady tactic

    3. If everyone is so annoyed by it, just don’t accept the friendly quit and we’ll play. Waiting for the timer to run out just wastes both of our time.

    4. As stated above, people that sit on the decision generally show me what kind of player they will be during the game.

    5. It’s just a stupid and shitty thing to do. Are you really that offended by the request? Jiminy criminy, get over yourself.

Honestly I think everyone explained pretty well what they do in certain circumstances. And TBH they all seem reasonable. If you are offended by any it is all a "you thing" man.

And always there is FQ Karma as Mitch said. And if you dont think it is real then F u dude. You know Nothing!

I edited my last post to be more clear. Its BS and you know it. How do you wait through all the loading and decide your cat makes you need to quit when you see the W/L or lineup?

Or something came up, or maybe I don’t want to play a home run derby in shippett for the fifth game in a row. And “game mechanics?” Friendly quit karma isn’t really real. It’s just something we kind of joke about. If you think the game actually punishes people who do this, get outta here man.

    1. I mentioned in my original post about friendly quit karma.

2 if you’re offended by people offering a friendly quit, then that’s your thing as well

    1. My very vocal elderly cat, who I swear recognizing when I’m about to start game, started whining and poking me the second the game started, which is why I asked for the friendly

But you really didnt. If you know about the way the game mechanics punish people who refuse every BS FQ then why do you offer them? Just because you dont like the guys record? Or his SP? Get outta here man.

Or something came up, or maybe I don’t want to play a home run derby in shippett for the fifth game in a row. And “game mechanics?” Friendly quit karma isn’t really real. It’s just something we kind of joke about. If you think the game actually punishes people who do this, get outta here man.

Lol, well, see how it sounds complaining about something that isnt real? I see you on the forum all the time so I consider you somewhat of a "forum buddy" but I aint gonna let you get away with sounding silly. Got to move past that stuff.

I consider you a forum buddy as well which is why I find it odd we are going back and forth on this. Maybe we both just need to get some sleep, it 4am here lol. The aforementioned cat woke me up

I feel you were venting on something you probably shouldnt have been venting about. So I cannot totally beat you up for it. I know the frustrations, and certain things frustrate some of us more than others. But, especially this time of year, I dont think you can get away with FQ lol. Guys are tired of that. it literally happens to some ALL the time.

Maybe it’s just an agree to disagree on this point. I’m not offering a fq unless I have a good reason as I get a lot of requests myself, and I’m not Offended if someone says no. I’m just as irritated at the tactic and the wasted time as others are about the request in the first place.

Check out the last lines of post one and post three. Perhaps it’s not as clear as it could be but my intention in those posts was to say that people who do this are asking fo the friendly quit karma to come back and bite them

I edited my last post to be more clear. Its BS and you know it. How do you wait through all the loading and decide your cat makes you need to quit when you see the W/L or lineup?

Then don’t accept and we’ll play the game.

You're making a whole lot of problems over nothing in my opinion. Is time of that much essence or do you need to leave immediately? Straight up quit man. I don't understand how your record or your rating would be more important than your elderly cat who you said starting acting up as soon as the game started. Seems like you need to get your priorities in check before you come here to vent about other people's behavior.

Moral of the story here; you know when you're about to play a RS game that 30-45 minutes of your time will be dedicated to this game. Those 3 minutes of the pause time won't make that much of a difference down the line, does it?

    1. I mentioned in my original post about friendly quit karma.

2 if you’re offended by people offering a friendly quit, then that’s your thing as well

    But you really didnt.

Trust me a lot of times I do quit. Don’t talk to me about priorities, and if you are on here answering me, then you are part of the issue as well

Lol sorry, I really don't see the issue here. Just quit and carry on. Or wait and play the game.

The issue is, what’s the point of waiting or not answering? Just take the quit or not (I know I’ve asked this several times. Still don’t get it, and probably never will). Why be that guy?

Have you never had someone ask you the same question over and over? After 30 times do you just immediately blurt out the answer? probably not. There is your answer to that.
