Do you have pujols or Ted Williams on your roster? Just hit world series and not sure what to do with the ws pack?

Personally, I would sell whoever is going for the most right now because of the inflated prices due to the stub sale. Then if you really want one just buy them back after the sale is over.

I have Ted. He hits 3rd and plays left field, exactly like he did for me last year. I haven't ever noticed anything with his defense being an issue, but I sure as sh!t notice his bat. One of the best swings and cards in the game. I'd 100% reccomend him if you want a fantastic hitting card.

Agreed, 100%.

Cobb has done well for me in a few games. His speed has also helped on D and when stretching a single into a double thanks to the slow outfielder animations.
If they gave me stats like the players, my baserunning aggressiveness would be 125.@SFennell3 said in For guys with god squad teams:

I have heard about that...….

I’ve found to make the game more entertaining is to do different team builds. I won’t use ted Williams because I value speed in my outfield. On my god squad I run yellich, trout (Prestiged)and walker(prestiged).

Nah, I don’t use either. Outfield is jammed, as is 1B and Chipper is staying at 3B. There’s plenty of 125/125 bench bats at this stage as well, so I have no need for them.

Ted is amazing man. Him and Babe are the only ones who always hit for me no matter what funk im in. Havent used Pujos and was thinking about buying him but there has been a lot of negative feedback. But i suck with mantle and people rave about him so im going to find out for myself

Every. Single. Time.
Don't get me wrong -Cobb is good. He has a decent swing and plays better outfield than Ted ever will, but his bat isn't even on the same planet.
I don't think I've thought to myself "man, Cobb would have got to that ball" at any point in a ball hit to Ted. The difference of Cobb vs. Ted in left field might save you 1 run every 9 or 10 games.
Ted's bat is likely adding a run every 2-3 games. He's THAT good.

I have Pujols batting 3rd right now and loving him (over Gehrig and Ruth). Ted will never be anything more than a bench bat for me with the likes of Mantle/Trout/Griffey/Mays/Ruth in the game. Cards are subjective, though.

Ted Williams is the greatest hitter that ever made my line up.
