I was robbed 2mins of lifespan reading through that nonsense. Where can I get a refund on those?

It's very easy to counter bunt cheesers though. Play the 2B in and the 3B to cover a drag and you're all set. Nobody will bunt his way on base. You're welcome.
Do you set the cover drag first, then set the second baseman in?
I never did a shift adjustment with 2 fielders. I thought it would reset the shift when I adjust second fielder. If u know what I meanIt doesn't matter who you shift first, but you have to shift them both manually or they reset. If you're not very familiar with all the manual defensive alignment options, I would suggest you start a vs CPU game and just mess around in the options to see all the possibilities. There is no pause clock so you have all the time in the world to get accustomed to it.

You brought up having a job. Still not entirely sure why.

I very rarely lose to a bunt cheeser, like Raes said, bring in the 3B and 2B and the bunt is neutralized. Most people who bunt can't really hit well, so I'm not to worried about them swinging.

Yeah, right. I learned a lot about defensive shifts for one. Didn’t know you could bring in just the 2B.

Proving my theory. Don’t hate the player, hate the game. Actually, hate me too. I don’t care.
You're not proving a thing buddy, you're just lucky to play scrubs up until this point. I've already explained extensively what you can and should do to completely shut down the bunt game, which you conveniently ignored. I was just trying to help you with that information, but at this point it seems like you're just trying to troll so good luck with that.
No, I’m not. I’ll give it a shot, and thanks. Just bizarre “Bunt Defense” doesn’t achieve this.
I’m just bitter I’ve invested time and $100 (pre order) to beta test a broken game. I’d gladly take a refund at this point.
Thats like finishing your whole meal and telling the establishment...”the food tasted horrible. I want a refund!.”
Sort of like: If you aren't satisfied, get your money back. Then you eat it all, love it, and say that you hated it, and get your money back. LOL
Ok, that is a fair argument I suppose. Except the meal isn’t over, so here is a novel idea, how about they just fix the product we all paid for?
Or do you enjoy paying to be a perpetual beta tester?
This is the only game I play. I have played much worse sport games. Sure this game can be better but compared to other titles in the same vertical I will take this 5/5 times.

Go to your local Walmart for a refund. BUT make sure you bring your receipt.

I was hard on you, my apologies. I’m sure at least half your post was being frustrated (I hope). Anyways, yeah you can set individual positions’ defensive alignment. When pressing down on d-pad, press triangle for defensive alignment. That’s where you play around with it. For an individual batter that’s up, set to batter, Then instead of infield, scroll to 2B and the select depth you want. Do the same for the 3B after if needed. In all honesty, I only bring my 2B in. I don’t even bother with the 3B and it gets the job done

It’s ok. Of course it’s frustration, and half trying to joke around. The pitcher confidence thing sucks. It kills me to have a WS player with a God Squad bunting aboard to take a lead.

Same here man. That’s why it drives me nuts I guess.
Update: 2 for 2 with bunt cheese team.
Though the second game was a pitcher’s duel and I ended up hitting a bomb with Biggio to win it. Couldn’t really get the cheese going against Nate Pearson, lots of fouls.
Not sure I’ll keep it up, but it’s sad to win this way and see that it works to ruin pitcher confidence.
-
Another update:
Game 3, currently tied in the 10th.
Earlier: Bunted aboard twice, both times thrown out by FOXX trying to take second. This was Mondesi and Buxton... stats don’t matter.

It's better to share knowledge and battle a common annoyance than lower ourselves to the same levels.

Well, I hate to say that I’ve proven my point in my testing. You can totally screw over a starter early if you manage to bunt cheese them. Not to mention put your opponent on tilt.
I won’t say I’ll be running the bunt squad anymore, because honestly it felt dirty, but I may drop one down on starters I can’t hit from here out...

Well I'm not gonna stop you from running a team like that, because like I said its very easy to stop. And that's why I also disagree with your statement that you can screw a pitchers confidence early, because that only works when you bunt to get on base. And that's not happening when you do what I suggested.
