Seems like a lot of people share my view, namely, that moments are boring, repetitive and feel like they’re just designed to waste as much of your time as possible. I’m praying that next gen and cross platform equates to a rebuild of everything, including the same old game modes we’ve seen for the past few years, however, I’m more hopeful than expectant, given that SDS have shown limited imagination in that department.

I........ like them and don't like them. I enjoy the more casual moments that take maybe 5 minutes, it's something relaxing to do.

Oh yeah “hit one home run” is fine. It’s more the “get 3 XBH” or “pitch 7 innings, while striking out 13 batters and don’t give up more than one hit” that get me. Especially when you have 15ks through 6 1/3 and they pull a slider down and away out of the zone 500 feet.

As has been said, the 3XBH missions (when the pitchers throw mostly balls and even hit you on occasion) are super frustrating. I’m not the best but am not the worst either, and those missions feel like I’m just wasting my time with nothing to show for it after a half hour or more of failed attempts. I’ve nearly destroyed my controller over these stupid things.

I need to also mention he fact that these guys have such terrible speed you can hit a clean double down the line and into the corner and still get thrown out at second base.

Got a like/hate relationship with moments. Some of them are easy for me to do, others are impossible. I really hate the ones that make me come up just short of what I needed to accomplish, not just once, but over and over again.

Then, only after I'm ranting about how rigged it is, after my voice had dropped an octave and my accent gets thicker, and after my knuckles have turned white, only then does the game let me succeed. It's to the point that I think it's doing this on purpose.

It's comforting to know that we share the same pain.

I just wish moments would make sense.

The Ripken moments aren't hard, but when a moment requires a home run, and you hit a P/P flyball in Miller Park, logic should dictate that it leaves, not get caught at the track

I don't totally hate moments, I like the idea and that it's a challenge. However, with that said, I think the difficulty (meaning modified sliders) should be toned own a bit. I just had 2 attempts at the yelich extreme moment...in both attempts I had 2 hrs in my first 2 at bats....had 3 more at bats in both attempts I saw 36 pitches in those 6 at bats and never saw a single pitch closer the 6 inches off the plate (I swong at balls to get full counts in hopes of getting a strike which never came). So how can you even try to hit a 3rd homerun when the cpu won't throw you a strike. That's the one aspect that I hate about moments the rng is too over the top

My biggest problem with moments is the difficulty seems completely arbitrary. "Veteran" for a 3 XBH Topps Now moment seems entirely different from and far harder than "Veteran" against the CPU on Conquest.

This is the exact problem I have. Sometimes All-Star feels like HOF in moments. Just absurd. Does the game want to face my wrath?
