Quitting or "Dashboard" solution?
-
Make it charge you stubs to quit or automatic if you do quit? Possibly $500 ?
What do you think?
-
My spotty internet disagrees with this strongly.
-
I quit all the time and have a million stubs. No problem. My pleasure.
-
The solution is simple: don’t have any online only stat requirements. Problem solved.
-
Make the play finish?
-
My internet is sad, and my small town has frequent power surges, so I strongly disagree with this. Should such a thing be implemented however, it should only be in games against other players, not the CPU (since I don't play against other players).

Totally agree. Most of us offline players don't want to ever play online, but don't want to be left out of so many good players that we can only get online..
I understand it's easier to get stats offline, so fine just make two different stat requirements. -
lmao this is an all time bad take

I think a 30 min ban might work.

Not possible
Why is it not possible? The game can regardless of online or not can continue until the end of the play if it is designed that way. The reason it doesn't happen is because it is designed the way it is. Don't get me wrong, I am not a programmer but sure doesn't sound like it wouldn't be possible to me

I love online play, but I need to move my mind-set more toward this attitude. I'm not going to win them all, but grinding prestige is a good motivator.

Because the connection no longer exists, that’s why it’s not possible. Its a P2P server requiring both connections to make a match. Once one is lost the game can no longer continue. So if it happen before the the play ended it’s as if it never happened. Programming has nothing to do with it. It’s a server issue which falls into my realm of expertise.

Watching guys go through hoops to win at all costs is amusing. They don't realize that the Bryce Harper run scored from 3rd on a sac fly makes me a little closer to prestiging that creep (Harper), which is where I get satisfaction (Rolling Stones).

I have every card in the game but have more fun prestiging Jason Kendall than hitting bombs with Ted Williams or Babe. Anyone can do that.

That makes sense I wasn't thinking about P2P, I was thinking playing on a dedicated server where that would make sense

The programming part of that problem is that it was programmed as P2P instead of server based.
Most video games where it's 1 vs 1 are not going to invest in servers to host the matches.
