Did you get the video of this, I really want to see it.

I didn't, but I have seen a video of someone who's also had it happen. They had the ball bounce to short off the pitchers head I believe, but basically the same scenario.

I have no real expectations of finishing extreme showdown, but I've been grinding the first few bosses over and over for the xp. That's where this unbelievable scenario occurred....

Bases loaded, square up a pitch and fire a liner back through the box. It hits Casey Mize in the head and all my runners break. The ball pops up off his head and back towards the plate where the catcher catches it out of mid air. 1 out. The Tigers then proceed to fire it around the horn and I go from bases loaded, to bases empty with 4 less outs to work with.

    This game sometimes.....

I just find it hilarious that the CPU players don't care about Mize getting beaned at all, straight up professionals. He's probably unconscious or possibly dead, but gotta turn it!

Well that is what would happen IRL. They would check him after of course, or whomever isnt involved in the play may check on him, which the CPU will not lol.
