It seems like the best way is to do one side first for all turn based and then finish the whole map. Then start over and do left.

There’s no one way to it. It depends on how fast you want to accomplish it and what difficulty level your comfortable with playing. The fastest way is going to require higher levels of difficulty especially early on.

I’ve wondered, if anyone has tried to simply make bee lines straight to each stronghold and then start over for the next one? If you’ve tried this (I realize it’s a lot of games) has the CPU ever broke your line going for some of the ones further out?

I kind of feel like just taking them one at a time and then restarting. I’ve got four of them done while playing on either AS or HOF and not losing at all.

I don’t usually play with my god squad on conquest. Usually I’m trying to finish off innings for teams or stat missions. Much easier with a team of 99s

Do a straight line from chicago/col to the Athletics, restart.
    Then to the right. Restart.
Then twins down and steal on HOF and you should be alright for the rest of the missions.

You only have to replay those 10 strongholds at the end of it this way.

I don’t mind having to replay strongholds later, but I’m curious if you go straight for some of the ones further out if the CPU will break your line?

The White Sox and Rockies keep breaking my line before I get out to the A's, so my answer is yes. I restarted after the Angels and keep getting blocked. Should have just kept going i guess.

Looks like I'm gonna have to beat their strongholds again next time.

I'm almost done playing for the packs - to which I really got nothing special! - then will do the rest of the objectives for turns after.
It's a lot of work, but I only play the CPU anyway. I just see it as more content to bust out at my pace.

Depending on how you restart and which way you go the Rays, Blue Jays, and the equivalent teams on the other side will beat you when you sim the attack. So you have to play the extra stronghold, Or the extra attack spot game. It also makes sense to steal fans while you’re at it. When you go down towards the twins, you have to play them and take the stronghold unless you’re comfortable playing on legend (on a restart, otherwise this should be your first turn move anyway.
