Question About Leagues
-
For the last few years, play with friends has not counted towards stat missions and team affinities. Will custom leagues count towards these things this year?
-
I'd venture to say no, because even the stats themselves get reset every season in that league, but that's just a guess.
-
But it's online and if you set it as dd teams, what's the incentive? I mean, rs already provides a competitive online mode, with all the benefits of achieving missions and affinities, same with br.
I would see it as a massive negative if those stats don't count to at least team affinities.
@Collin_SDS or @Victor_SDS
Will they count?
-
No because there are too many cheaters out there that would match up with friends and abuse the system and accumulate the stats in a matter of a couple hours. The stats count in ranked, br and events because the matchups are random.
-
So why would I waste my time with leagues when I can simply play br or rs?

I agree, but also people find loopholes, those people make it suck for the rest of us.
If it counted for affinity, two friends create a league, play each other, and just leave the game running, so it just auto pitches and strikes them out over and over. They come back a couple hours later and they've done 50 innings x 9, so 450 innings total accumulated just because they could match up with their friends and it counted. -

I can see why it won't, but you and I both know that the league we have joined is not going to pad stats.Just ruins it for those who want to play the right way.
