Pause time during Ranked Season Matchups.

Not to be a [censored] here but if they cut the pause time in half the more competitive people will complain and it will go back to normal. Also family takes precidence over video games everyday so you prob should be paying more attention to them than wondering why Good/Good = a lineout (not saying you do just a general example of complaints I've seen)

The more competitive guys are the ones who want less pause time

It should be cut in half the pause timer.
i agree with this - especially when you have pissy kids crying halfway through an RS game all bitter holding the game time out of spite
This exactly.

I have 2 kids and a wife going back to school. I have to cook dinners, do home-work with kids, do household chores, and get them ready for bed. I do not enter a game if I know I cant make it through without pausing 20 times. That [censored] is annoying. If your personal life is too much for a game with already waaaaaaayyyyyy too much pause time...then play offline. My life is busy and I am not trying to spend another 5 minutes staring at a screen because you need to go smoke every other batter.

You would think (although I know it's not true) that the more competitive guys would be the ones doing more shifts, making more pitching moves, etc.

This is correct, I want 3 Or 5 minutes flat, no more adding time after each inning

To make less pause time they should not make us warm up pitchers online.

If you use the d-pad, it takes a max of 5-10 seconds to select 2 relievers and warm them up. I don’t mind it. What I don’t like is the fact that if one guy uses the quick pause, the opponent is just stuck there waiting for their turn to pause. If you can both pause at the same time through the options button, then I don’t understand why we can’t do the same with the quick pause.

Agreed, I don't understand why both players can't use the quick menu at the same time...It's probably something to do with the code. Also dumb that you can't warm up another reliever when you bring one in without going back in to the quick menu..

I'm not much of an online guy but getting the pause time reset or more added every inning is so bad. I hate the long waits and quick pauses in succession. I think a flat time of 5 minutes in total is good. If you cant make your moves for a whole game in 5 minutes there is something wrong with you. I do think there should be time added in extra innings though. Maybe 30 seconds an inning or something

Then let them create a game where its possible.
You can't cut pause time for everyone cause casuals will complain.
Long story short is you can't please everyone. I say give a 3 min timer with no add on. If you run out of time you lose. Plain and simple

Yea seriously. Instead of smoking throw a lip in of some cope mint - Chew spit repeat.

If life happens and I'm losing I'll just quit unless I'm up then I'll ask for a fq. My daughters, woman, etc is more important then the video gm I'm playing.
It shouldn't give you more time every half inning. 2 minutes should be the max IMO. I take care of all unforeseen business before I search for a gm, I hate sitting there staring at the pause timer.
I know if I want to pinch hit, change pitchers etc before the start of an inning and what hitter/pitcher I'm going to. It's not rocket science. -
@PandaDeRojo24 said in Pause time during Ranked Season Matchups.:
I can't be the only one to get their game forfeited just because of the time limit. You can be having the best start to your inning on offense as the away team and then you pause your game to do something but the opponent forfeits your game to make them the winner. To me this is beyond unfair. Your the winning team, your up by however many runs but all of that to just end up with a loss because of a Time Limit, is not right. I wish it never existed in online matches. This is not even about being triggered of a loss, this has happened numerous times and its unfair to end up with a loss when you were winning the whole game. That's why you see alot of triple loss teams you match up against i bet. Its because of the pause time limit that alot of players are getting losses. They need to either get rid of the clock or the forfeit button can be replaced with a friendly consensus.
This is hilarious.
So what's your solution?.... having NO Time Limit? If that were the case, you may as well just start a game, then pause, and while still on pause, call it the night, and feel pretty confident that the opponent would disconnect by morning just so you could get the win. Wow, what a twisted version of the game freeze standoff we had to go through on a previous version. LMAO.

Quit the extended amount of pausing the game and problem solved. Game takes long enough to play without pausing all the time. Gotta give it a break.
