I'm personally not a fan of temporary cards. This was a cool promo because of the real life events where he broke the "unwritten rules" but other than that I would personally not like to see this become a trend. Just give us the cards for unlimited use.
absolutely. i bet a lot of young kids were confused as well as the text / promo around it was still vague enough to leave open to interpretation - hence so many ppl wondering what was going on
i made a ton of flipping those exchange teams but yeah i felt bad for those who didn't know better

look i understood it this way but you can also interpret it as "get this card within 48hours before its gone" not "get it only for 48 hours and then its gone"

like @JEROXLAYKEATAT said, it would be far better if they did limited time runs for getting a certain card - if more cards had rarity to them, then we wouldn't be seeing Hal or Kluber 4/5 times online

FIFA had cards that were boosted during full moons (not a joke). Everytime after the boost wore off, the forums would be flooded with players complaining that their card they bought had been downgraded.
The special one time only effect this had was nice, but let's not make it into a regular thing.

I could see how the mistake could be made. I do think, and I've said it before, that there will be some hard feelings from players because a lot of people sacrificed a lot of cards/stubs to get that card, and a lot of people scalped and made a fortune based off a misunderstanding.
The way out is to release it as lightning, which we all figure will happen, then make having the FOF card part of the collection. Then it's not so painful for those who got gouged.

When I am thinking of limited to obtain 48hr cards, make them better than whatever version is available to everyone. Then after 48hrs they are gone from all packs for good. Or if you have to earn it in a 48 hr window, make the opportunity disappear for good. This would ad some spice to collecting. Yes headliners are limited per say, but I believe you can pull headliners from regular packs. You just have a higher % from headliner packs.
