This is my first year playing online and I have come across a few of these guys that will plunk a couple of batters after giving up a homer. What is the point of this ? I literally could not care less about getting a HBP; I don’t feel the pain, my batter gets on base, and the pitchers confidence goes down even lower. I get that in real life some chin music can back hitters off the plate and fastballs between the shoulders can deliver messages but i don’t get what is gained by intentionally throwing at a batter in a video game..
