i will never make WS to get him but i have the stubs to buy him... is he as good as lastyear?
Is he ene game worthy
I'm not sure, like you I probably will never make WS, I picked him up just cause I had a pile of stubs and sold this innings boss for a boatload so I essentialy just swapped Sale for Johnson. So far I'm 0-2 with him but I seemingly went up against some really really strong players. He only gave up 2 runs in the last game, and he didn't gave up many runs in the 1st game, I just couldn't hit.
I haven't been able to get many strike outs but again these guys I played hit everything, I got a lot of lazy flies and pop outs. He seems like a very solid lefty and even though he only has 4 pitches they come at such a weird angle it's kind of a guess where they're going to end up. Plus he's kind of a rare card so there aren't a lot of guys getting a lot of looks at him.

Okay good to know so will you be keeping him ?
-
Nope not even close IMO
-
not sure, 300k is a lot of scratch, Hikes, do you think he will come down? Or stay where he is price wise? This is my 1st year playing this so I have no real frame of reference for some of the nuances of how they release cards, they seem to prop up some value wise and tank others so everyone can get them.
It seems like the WS reward cards hold their value.
-
They hold their value but he’ll ho down some more with almost two weeks left in the ranked season. Many more will be available on the market
-
He will come down a bit as a large number of players wait until the end of the season to make the final world series push. I think he will drop down to around 240/250 then go back up.

So he'll probably come down, then go back up some after the innings over? That's good to know. he's good, you just need to really mix up the placement because the pitch mix isn't there.
I still don't understand how anyone can make world series... I can't even get to 700. And I've been playing and practicing a lot. I tend to do way better in events and in stuff above all star but I can't get out of all-star on ranked. I just played 3 games where I couldn't catch up to Seaver and Orels sinker/fb... Then I go into a game where the guy brings in a diff pitcher every inning and I put up 8 runs and have no problem hitting Chapman and other gas throwers.
I know it's inconsistent but people are doing it so I must just suck.

He only has 3 pitches. His stuff might be nasty at first but I feel like opponents can figure him out pretty quick
-
If he had another decent pitch.

Seeing as I can't get out of All Star, every pitcher seems to get hit, so honestly it proably doesn't even matter for guys like me and mandry
