LS Chapman vs Sig Chapman

After pitching 40 innings with both I have come to the conclusion (mostly on hof) that LS without a doubt is way nastier especially with the recent IE . The sinker is not flat the 2seam works as a third change up and that slider gives most of the players PTSD. Especially when you gunnel it. The sig, surprisingly just as wild/if not more wild at times than the LS. Don’t spam the sinker work the 2seam up and way .. everyone sits 102 on the sign because of the double outliers. Get your 150k back

I had the opposite conclusion, I've played over 70+ innings with both, and the LS has just above a 4 ERA, while the Sig has a 2.21 ERA.
Both are nasty and LS is definitely more cost-effective for what he gives you, but imo with cost being no object, Sig Chapman wins.

They're both monster cards. One is a card that should be in everyone's lineup - LS - and one that should in everyone's lineup if they can afford it - Sig.

Picked 97 Chapman up today for 115K. He had been going for 200K not to long ago. He will fit great in my bull pen.

Live series chapman has 65 ctrl on each of his pitches, and then 42 on the 2 seam.
The 97 chapman has 97 ctrl on the 4Seam, 94 on the slider, and then 84 on the sinker.
That alone means the 97 is miles better because better control means less hanging pitches. The sinker has the same break on both cards, the slider gains 3 break on the 97.
The big difference is in the 2 seam.
70 break 69 ctrl on the 97
65 break 42 control on lsAnd of course, the ACTUAL change up on the 97.
This is a bad arguement everytime it comes up and I'm about to just save this post to copy paste.
