I think it all comes back to connection. The game uses a peer-to-peer type connection instead of dedicated servers, which isn't great for modern gaming. I think having servers would allow for a more stable game.

I do notice that it is a lot harder to hit when I am the away team than when I am the home team and am hosting the game even with a hard wired connection.

Btw... my intention was not to come across like a **** but I've been around this forum since DD's inception and can tell you even the mention of GP in RS automatically causes an uproar. Practice will make you better but if you show a weakness you have to expect your opponent to exploit it.

One more thing, if you are using GP vs the CPU I suggest you stop doing so. Best way to prepare for online play is to learn to hit the CPU first without knowing what is coming.

Guess Pitch without feedback wouldn't be terrible, you don't know you guessed right but your timing window and PCI will get a little bigger (and vice versa when wrong.) I don't hate that at all.
