Nolan Ryan or Thor

Need just a flamethrower to be my 5 to replace smoltz. Do I go Thor or Nolan . I’m very comfortable with Orel/Maddux/Wood/Pax, just need a consistent flamethrower .

Now I'm interested too... I have so many control guys in my starting rotation, I'd be interested to see who the best heat pitchers would be.

I used Thor on RS HoF level and he got tagged pretty good. I messaged the guy I played and he said the outlier on his sinker penalizes him since it makes his sinker and FB the same speed. Said all his pitches were flat too. I definitely had more control with him than Nolan Ryan tho.

Haven’t used either but I’d side thor just for the slider. It’s always nice to have horizontal movement in this game. Can never trust curveballs. But double outlier on Nolan looks appealing can’t deny that

Have you tried Nolan? Atleast a few on hof? He was very bipolar for me last year but when he was on .. warning track fly balls and 12 k’s usually
