DD two player question

My son and I like to both play with our DD teams, but we have only one PS4. Is there a way we can play two player offline against each other? Apologies for the newbie question, but searching for this question pulls up too many other topics to find an answer. Thanks in advance.

I think you can only do this with 2 PS4 systems.

You can't play with both of your DD teams against each other. You can only play each other offline.
