What is up with the runners going back to the previous bases on a hit and run or when trying to bunt and run. Happening at least 70 percent of the time. I get taken out of advancing in the moments or events all the time because of this glitch. Also does it all the time in regular season play. Frustrating and ridiculous that the game would be designed that way.

Lol. Can't tell you how many showdowns this has lost me. I am sure there are people on here that will tell you," it's so easy to beat showdowns." Just hit homers and don't worry about those pesky base runners 😲.

Just like when they dont get a jump even when you jam the steal button,or when the psychic computer knows when you push the steal button even though you have taken no lead. Showdowns are rigged my guy.

I had the runners go back before (Showdown), but it was because my right index figure was too close/inadvertently hitting the R1 button. I've had them go back in moments on ground balls, which there was nothing I could do about.

Happened to me last night. Runners on first and 2nd and I smash a ball into the gap. When my runner got to second he started to go back to first instead of going to third.

Yea its really wierd, Im not even used to checking if they turn around because its never happened to me before. Now all of a sudden I have to actually watch them and make sure they go. Very frustrating.

Seems like this problem is worse than ever. Always running back to previous bases and causing outs and loss of advancing in the game.

7th inning Showdown challenge, 2 outs, ball hit to the gap, Griffey Jr freezes between 1st and 2nd, I mean he just stands there, with 2 outs, and gets thrown out at 2nd. Lose the challenge.

Sometimes the game just makes you lose a challenge for fun. Can't complain too much as Walter Johnson was pretty easy to beat as the final boss.

I find I sometimes will hit the right bumper or R1 when I swing with the right stick. I have to tell myself to move my right finger to rest over R2 to avoid this. If you just happen to hit the R1 when flicking the Right stick the runners retreat.

I mentioned that earlier in the thread, but it seems like they dont believe that is the issue.
