I feel like i can't hit in this game after the first couple weeks how does everyone else feel about this

I feel like hitting is in a pretty ok place.
Certainly not perfect, there is a bit too many good timing outs and check swings are an issue, but overall, I think it's improved over 19.

I have had horrible perfect perfect luck the past two days. 6 perfect perfect swings. 5 online and 1 offline only resulting in one hit. Other than that it’s been good. A big upgrade from the line outs last year

I can hit but I agree that hitting is broken. It has been highly inconsistent all year. The timing window is broken, way too many pulled foul balls on pitches that are at the front of the green contact point! Way too may routine fly balls on balls that are not perfect-perfect but in the green part of the contact area and pretty much in the center of the PCI. This shouldn't happen. This game seems to not care about physics or reality too much.

Here are the current hitting issues from my POV:
#1 - Early swings are OP. The best exit velos are when you're early to perfect. There is also an inconsistency with very early/early swings resulting in balls put in play but just early swings resulting in foul balls.
#2 - Timing window is too big. No flail animation should result in a foul tip. These ties into making very early/early swings OP. Guys can just wait until you throw something harder and run into one. It's too hard to strike people out...rather it's too easy to make contact with horrible swing input.
#3 - The lack of base hits and exit velos when you hit the ball just past the perfect point is crazy. That swing should result in more hits...especially compared to early swings which result in bomb after bomb.
#4 - Sinkers are still a problem. They are unnatural and resemble off speed.
