He's incredibly hard to control and relatively easy to pick up. Not worth all those stubs imo.

Sometimes you have to pass on BR rewards. He was my favourite last year when he came out, hit like .200 with him as well which was fun. He’s still an easy pass this year.

Thanks Guys. Only real Diamond Dynasty i played was 2018 (played 2019 for less than 2 months due to other things). I never had a lot of Stubs or finished the Live Series in 2018. So yeah , its nice to be able to try one of the high end cards for the first time.

I will take a pass on Bob Feller.

Anyone later on in the year that is a consistent good card every year?

I'm personally looking forward to some lefties. Kershaw, Madbum, Sale, Guidry.

As far as righties go...Nolan Ryan (could be interesting w/outlier), Seaver, Verlander, Scherzer.

What makes a pitcher easy or hard to pick up? I am assuming his delivery, but would like more specifics

He’s end game for sure. Starting pitching is always hit or miss. The new Maddux is really good. Even without any good velocity. Just hard to hit him hard.

Mize is good too. But he’s expensive

I agree Maddux is good, but I used Feller in RS on HoF and got destroyed. Not roughed up. Destroyed. Small sample size, but it seemed much like last year’s card - easy to pick up and difficult to control.

I would recommend Orel, Maddux, and Kluber/Wood from the right side. Glavine’s card performed really well for me when I had him (12 starts), but I abandoned his low /9s. SDS did Glavine dirty.

It’s subjective. But basically how quickly you can recognize pitches.

Part of Feller’s issue is that his primary pitch is straight and his sinker has poor control. If you can get people to chase his slider and curve you’re golden, but patient hitters will spit on them and wait for fastballs in the zone or recognize hangers.

For some reason Bob Feller never seems to be very good in The Show.
