Cool idea but probably unrealistic

I think it would be really cool if we could add a starting pitcher to the bullpen as an inning eater. Hear me out, we've seen guys get moved to the bullpen after being a starter, sometimes to help their team in the postseason when they know they can use that long guy out of the 'pen. It would be a cool feature if we could have one "starter" in our pen that once added, had decreased stamina so you couldn't cheese it and put him in there after one inning and pretty much choose your 99 overall Kershaw every time. So, let's say you have a starter, he's good but you just don't feel they are cutting it as a starter, you could click "add to bullpen". There could also be a secondary position for a starting pitcher who has started and relieved (Chad Green for example), where you could have them as both a starter and add them to the bullpen to give you some innings in an extra inning game or something like that.
Obviously this would take a lot of figuring out and I don't think it's something that would ever actually happen, but it would be a cool part of real baseball that would create more strategy in the game. Don't take a dump all over this idea, I don't mean for it to be taken as I'm pushing hard for this or something, but rather create discussion on how it could work. What do you guys think?

I was a bit hesitant about it when reading your title for fear of them just bringing that one guy in to make every "start", but I think it would work with your decreased stamina idea, make him maybe have a bit more than regular. For example, Dennis Eckersley's 97 in the game currently has 37 stamina, so make it somewhere around 37-50. I think Eckersley is a good comparison because he has a gold starter version in the game with 107 stamina.

People will abuse this once diamond Niekro and Tiant make their return to the franchise, which will undoubtedly happen at some point. You'll be facing a diamond knuckleballer out of the pen every game.
