Only 90 for Treinan?

Maybe just looking for a little love for the A’s this year, but to give 2018 Treinan a 90 overall is a bit stingy considering he put up one of the best seasons ever by a reliever.
How about a high diamond Tim Hudson flashback to make up for it?

I agree, and I also think Seager should have had a higher than 91 rating for a great ROY campaign

Is there a worse card than Treinen? I’m 0-3 in save opportunities in that challenge. Came back and won all 3 games but either he is awful or I just can’t use him.

I mean he only had that 1 good season, did he not? Fell off the cliff pretty quickly.
Went from 0.78 ERA in 2018 to 4.91 ERA in 2019.

Yeah. He’s an interesting player... crazy electric stuff that moves in ways that shouldn’t be allowed, but it sometimes looks like he doesn’t have the ability to control it; walk prone unless he tones it down and makes himself vulnerable. He put it together in 2018 and it was something beautiful to see.
Even if it was only the one good year, he did things that some of the bigger names never could. Seems worth at least a 97, since this card supposedly reflects a slice of that spectacular effort.

I do agree that he was electric, but a 97 overall seems a bit high for a guy who had 1 good season. Even though you can make the argument for all the minor league guys who have similar ratings in this game, but still.

He is the best 90 in the game, he pitches will above his stats so far for me.
