A little help please

Received this game as early Birthday present. Have played offline many hours already. Believe I'm ready to try DD. Was really wanting to play the RS mode. My lineup, now, is mainly bronze/silver/couple gold. Should I wait until it's all gold? Or mostly gold?

If you don’t care about your record definitely, it’s a good challenge. But I’ll warn you, chances are every team you play is going to have mostly diamonds and you might be involved in 10+ run games.

Thanks. I'm going to give it a try then.

You'll probably want to wait until you get some diamonds,
check out the player programs, player of the month programs, conquest and such, there are so many ways to get free diamonds -
after you play a couple.. start by getting as many free high diamonds as possible. Monthly Awards Programs have 99 SP James Paxton, 98 OF/1B Cody Bellinger, 96 SS/3B/2B Carlos Correa & 95 SS/2B/3B Didi Gregorious.. there's a free 99 2B/3B/1B/LF Jackie Robinson located in Player Programs
ask questions, as many people on this forum have a few tips to share

If you do all the conquest maps first, You will walk away with a full team of position players all being low diamonds most likely. And you’ll get so much XP. And 30 points of rewards from each program.

I’d start by looking at the monthly and player programs and choosing 3-4 to go after. Then look for some cheap diamonds at the other positions. Beyond that it’s just upgrading weak spots as you go. Should probably start with Belli and Jackie, as they will work for both the short and long term.

Team affinity, grind them and you will get great cards that will allow you to compete

Just play man, only way to get used to it is by just diving in there. Don't worry too much about your team, this game is not like Madden where you won't stand a chance with a mediocre team against a stacked team. And you probably will lose games regardless, especially if you're new to the game, but that's totally fine and you learn from those games as well. So I would highly encourage you to just play if you want to and don't worry too much about your team or skill or opponents yet.
