How to prevent pci from shaking
-
Hey guys. I’m having an issue with my PCI shaking a lot. I’ve got a relatively new controller too so I don’t know what the problem is or how to fix it. Any suggestions would be appreciated

My pci will do the same if I’m trying to hold it steady in a certain spot it will like shake a little. But if I hold it straight up down left or right, or even center it doesn’t move.

Yeah happens a lot. Alot of controllers do that. Some do it even brand new out of the box. If you drop your controller once you can't use it in this game, but other games you can. If it drops and lands on the analog sticks It will cause that problem where it shakes
-
They need a "dead zone" option under controller settings. This would completely fix the issue.
-
So what do you do to prevent it? I see the streams of people online and it never seems like their PCIs shake at all. I’ve even tried using Kontrol Freaks
-
Sounds like you didn't calibrate your controller when you bought it. I'd start there.
-
Try switching controllers, some of mine do this, probably dirty, worn out or both.

How do you calibrate your controller
-
The best solution (aside from taking your controller apart and cleaning it) I've used for this is to press your left analog stick to the right or the left and blow in under the stick as hard as you can (you can also blast air in there with a compressed air duster if you have one). Dust is generally the main culprit of a faulty analog stick...so try this first.

How the heck do you calibrate a PS4 controller??

It seems like the newer dualshocks do this even worse than the old ones. Taking them apart won’t fix this, so save yourself the time and trouble.

Ah, we more seasoned gamers call this the "Nintendo Treatment". It will fix everything. If you are in a slump just blow into thr PS4. If your pack odds are bad, just blow into the PS4. The Nintendo Treatment even cures illnesses. You're welcome.

How do you do that? Is there a setting somewhere?
-
I've got 2 controllers. Both purchased in the last 2 years. One has the shake the other one does not. The one with the shake just started a couple weeks ago.

This is a problem with one certain part inside of the controller that is connected to the analog sticks. The fix is easy but if you don't know what you are doing you can destroy your controller. I have to fix this about every 4-5 months on my controllers.
