99 SS Eddie Mathews? Wanna solve 3b hole and thin a L bat would be best for my squad. I do have the 2 “Nolan’s” but wanna upgrade.
    Thoughts?

99 Mathews is hardly an upgrade over Gorman. Save yourself stubs and get Brett or Killebrew depending on which fits your style more.

If you're thinking about spending the stubs to get Eddie. Might as well spend those stubs on exchanges to get a 3b. You'll get a lot more out of the investment. Stubs, players, packs which will equal more stubs.

I've used Eddie Mathews since his 99 in the show 17 and hes always been my best hitter. If you like Eddie Mathews and have the stubs hes worth it...but as far as a review I was batting .356.. 27 hr and 62 with the evolution 92....upgraded to the 99 and in 10 ABs 2 Hr...and 5 rbi and the gold fielding is a noticable upgrade

I've only used him in Showdown and obviously he rakes on Veteren. If you like his swing and have the stubs, why not? But if not, Gorman is pretty similar.

Don't have the 99 Eddie, but the 92 Eddie was hard to replace. Even after I got Chipper I moved him to left field. Just replaced him when I got Walker.

Eddie Mathews is not worth it in any way. He’s just Gorman, but a TINY bit better. If you have Gorman, it’s a huge waste of stubs to get him. I’d go for Killebrew instead. Great power, more even splits, and WAY cheaper
