The 9th inning bosses (or was it 10th inning? Whichever was finest Acuña, degrom, and DJ) were leaked a week or two early last year and SDS just went with it. And iirc, a lot of people found those bosses so underwhelming that many of us doubted that the leak was legit, and SDS still stayed the course. These bosses are going to be really solid. The leak ruined the surprise but I’m still excited.
They were underwhelming for the final inning but I was pumped about a new Acuña. He was an absolute dog for me in all the finest events.

99 Hardware Rollins is the best shortstop I've used in this game 16 through 20, if he is similar to what 99 Rollins was in 17 he's end game no question and better than a cap
I disagree. Rollins was alright, but it's still a matter of preference. One thing that always bothered me is his height, he's so short. Kinda like J-Ram and Altuve, it shrinks their strike zone too much. I would definitely play my CAP over Rollins that's for sure.
Cool story, that’s never been something I’ve worried about, a smaller strike zone helps more than dudes like frank and judge where pitches come in high that you’re used to being balls and end up as strikes because their strike zone is so big. I’ll take Rollins over everybody I’ve used at shortstop in the 5 years I’ve played this game
Cool story. That's like the single most toxic way to start your argument. Cool story bro. Either way, I never said that I liked huge guys with large strike zones either. I was just referring to Rollins, since he was the actual topic of the debate. Not Frank Thomas, not Aaron Judge, but mister Rollins. Cool story that you'll take him over anyone else. And you've been playing for 5 years, wow cool story bro.

I'm interested to see how Musial plays this year. he's never really been considered a top card, but with contact mattering more than vision this year, dual 125 contact is intriguing.

His contact will definitely be 120+ on both sides. If his power is 100+ and he has a 1B secondary, I might play him at 1B because he does have a nice compact swing.

@The_Canuckler Skepple why are you changing PSN names being incognito like that? Got me all going roast special on you.

His contact will definitely be 120+ on both sides. If his power is 100+ and he has a 1B secondary, I might play him at 1B because he does have a nice compact swing.
If he’s that good I might have to swap Bellinger out for him.

Last year griffey week was 6th inning. I have a feeling he’s going to be some expensive collection or something similar
Could be the case. If so, I hope they make him better than last year because they kinda did him dirty.
Griffey? They JUST dropped a Griffey collection lol
Yeah but everybody knows that a 99 Griffey that will be way better than this one will drop at some point.
Yeah for sureeeee but not this soon... ppl spent a lot for this recent one
And if you weren't a content creator doing it for views, it was a really dumb decision.

He is one of the most toxic people on this forum and that's saying quite a bit. Very passive aggressive. Total hand job. His twitch is cringe times 100. He is a very insecure man that tries to make up for it because he is good at a video game. Life clearly is another story.

Fun fact: Turtles also have a lower shell called a 'plastron'.

Have you tried saying Plastron out loud? If you don't have fun saying Plastron, you need to get your fun meter checked.

He honestly should be one of the top 5 hitting cards period.. should almost be maxed out.
For cards they have the rights to, only Babe and Ted were better hitters.. Stan was even better than Mays for just pure hitting. Higher wRC+.... Mays was better, but because of defense and baserunning.
Stan was truly the man...

It's weird that it keeps changing back and forth, I don't know why that happens

I can definitely see 120+ both sides, with at least 90 power with a good swing, very intriguing bat

Very underrated in the sense that a lot of people don't think of him as "one of the greatest hitters of all time"

Very true. He's squarely in the top 10 all-time. Probably 8-10 area.. imo he's just a shade below Ted Williams overall, because he was better in all aspects of the game besides at the plate.. but Teddy was on another level there..
