He doesn’t get the respect he deserves cause he plays for the Mets. You can only get so much attention when your team lets you go 21-17 over a 2 year span with a 2 ERA.

I’m sick of seeing Sixto, May, Mize and other pitchers that have done NOTHING at the MLB level have these ridiculous cards! There are 10 or more “prospect” or “future star” pitchers with better attributes that have accomplished nothing yet!
What gives?
We need to see that 99 overall already!you can give him the best attributes in the game but his card will still be easy to rock.

Mets and Nats have made the World Series lately. DeGrom being a huge part of that run beating both Clayton Kershaw and Greinke in the DS. How are those Braves of yours doing?

Degrom doesn’t suck because his card ratings suck. He sucks because of his pitch selection. Even a 99 Degrom will probably be underwhelming when actually playing in game.

Yes. Didn’t he get a 99 last year and still got rocked? His delivery and speed differentials don’t translate well into this game. Same thing with Scherzer and Verlander. They can all give you a good game here or there but overtime will get rocked.
He is an amazing pitcher in IRL though.

I agree, but they are a flashy stat and they’re something a company will look at when designing what they consider “fair” ratings for a pitcher.

I’m still missing where I dissed the Mets, but alright I guess New York fans are gonna be dicks for no reason.

He got the respect. His card has great attributes. Just like Scherzer, Cole and Verlander. Bottom line is it doesnt translate into game. Those 4 guys can pitch lights out every year and get diamond and high diamond FB's and still no one will care when they see they are facing them. Because the pitch speeds and pitch types dont translate into success in MLB TS.
