I feel your pain. My "top notch" fielders make errors left and right. Im not convinced fielding ratings/attributes mean all that much in this game.

What the game wants the game gets. Had mike Schmidt make two errors in one inning. First his able to still throw the batter out. Two batters later botches another easy one to end the inning. Before you know it im down 7-1 on 2errors and 4 weak/jammed/bloop hits. Lol Is what it is man

There should be no computer generated errors. It should be a misuse of user error. It's a complete joke it ruins the game. Whenever that happens I immediately shut the show off and go to another game. It totally turns me off. It's like a slot machine. the content is kind of the only thing keeping me going this year. The gameplay is so so. I would never think about spending extra cash on this game in its current state.

There still needs to be errors for lower fielding players. Otherwise what’s the point of having good fielding?
No errors for diamond fielders is the way to go. I think they said that was the case but it’s not true. I’ve had a couple of errors in clutch spots with diamond fielders this year. On routine plays too.

they need to change the input on Fielding or just make it harder for lower-rated fielders to make accurate throws or get in position or whatever. If they need to revamp Fielding then they should. Diamond fielder's can still make errors if the user sucks with the controller. A horrible human player shouldn't have perfect defense just because he has a fancy card. This game is not a full-on simulation. User input does and should matter.
