CRAZY bug in Ranked

That’s crazy. Not surprised though. Funny how things like that happen when you’re ahead and it allows your opponent to get back into the game .

Ya the guy I was playing hit 0 extra base hits that entire game too and still was able to be in the ballgame cause of the constant BS. Crazy this is happening in video games in 2020.

I've had worse things happen at the plate. No doubt that that was a terrible call, but my catcher (91 Pudge) will occasionally stand in front of the plate with the ball in his glove and won't move an inch to try to tag a runner coming home. I remember it happening at least once on a dropped third strike

It’s a flaw in the game for sure but you moved your position towards the runner when the catcher caught the ball from the second base throw. Once you adjust the position of the player with the ball, he won’t make the tag. Had you not adjusted the player with the ball, he would have tagged him out. Sucks for sure but that’s how to avoid it in the future. Does need to be fixed.

i never even moved the analog stick, the point at which he should've been out is when I just pressed X to throw home. Everything that went wrong there was completely outta my control, which is insane. Crazy that when you completely out smart your opponent you still get [censored] on by the game.

I ended up scoring in the bottom of the 8th and got the W so I guess that's cool lmao. If i had been sober when this occurred my controller probably would've been smashed, but i was just so confused how this could even be possible in 2020.

I've seen that tag at home-plate issue before. It actually happened to me in a Showdown mission and cost me the win for it.
But the fact that you read and played that situation perfectly and not only were you not rewarded but you got stiffed by the game twice in the same play. SDS has to fix the tagging. I know this doesn't happen very often but the fact that it happens at all isn't right. I can't imagine how mad someone would be if that happened in a tournament game with money at stake.

Second you didn’t get screwed, literally watch the video and you can see di di pulled away from the tag because you told him throw. That’s not a bug that’s just a decision that you made and the game reacted. See beyond your frustration and actually watch the video. The player did what you told him to do. There is no issue

Didi should be able to tag him out and throw home for the double play, but the game doesn't allow for that to happen because there's a BUG in it. You saying there's no issue there is basically saying that you have to choose between either getting him out at second or getting the guy out at home. The game needs to be programmed to allow you to get a double play when you deserve one.

Umm that’s literally a play in baseball, that’s referred to as first and third offense. There’s multiple ways that a team can attempt to score squeeze, safety squeeze, straight steal, delay steal, early steal, the runner breaking down 20 feet from second after stealing to get in a rundown to score the run from third. And there’s also defenses plays where the middle infielder will come and cut the ball off before it reaches second to throw home and get the guy at the plate. So yes there are times where you have to choose what out you want. Your wanting the computer to keep his glove down to finish the tag, yet at the same time bring the glove up to be able to throw. That’s physically impossible. And that would be an actual glitch. You chose to have him throw before completing the tag so you gave up the out to get another. You should of got the out at the plate as long as you didn’t move the catcher, which you say you didn’t do, so that’s the glitch. If you would of waited and completed the tag to throw you might not have gotten him at the plate. That’s a real life decision that has to be made, so there is no glitch or issue with the play at second base.

I got a play that tops that. Runner completely missed 2nd base . Ball was hit to RF, Running on first went midway. Rf missed the ball. Running cut through the grass no where close to the bag. and was called safe at 3rd. WTF!!

I always throw behind the runner when I know they are going to change their mind on advancing to find my fielder waiting to apply the tag AFTER the runner is safely in.
So not only is my input irrelevant but my awareness of on throwing decisions and being one step ahead of opponents...for example correctly calling a pitch out to have my catcher lose the ball on the transfer. To a baserunner with 54 speed mind you.

If it’s online that one is 100% lag. stuff like that happens sometimes when your playing someone with weak internet. Basically your game didn’t get enough signal from your opponent to properly track the runner And moved him to where he is in real time when it could. It’s not a game play issue, it’s a match making issue which sds Doesn’t program into the show. That’s why there’s ping match making in games like COD
