TAs are just too much of a grind at this point. Especially if you’re only in stage 1 on a lot of teams. Think about how many showdowns you have to do to keep up at this point.
You should have been grinding all along towards the goal.
Same logic for prestige. If someone is a 54 silver, we shouldn't be giving them extra XP for being behind.
It’s just not realistic to expect a large majority of people to be able to keep up with it. Anyone who has even 5 teams 100% right now are in the large minority. I didn’t expect a bailout but it also doesn’t surprise me with how much of a grind it is.
This x100. I grinded a TON of division showdowns back when they were still hard to get like 6 teams to 100%. Doing those over and over again, months in, while I have a real job, just isn't something I want to do.

I have them all done and I can guarantee SDS has data that shows the average number done and know they need to make these more available to the majority of their customers.

The amount of people who have all 30 teams at 100 percent seems to be many. I am at 100 with 4 teams and play 5-7 hours. A day.

Yea you can already see that in them making divisional showdowns way easier, and now the 5th inning showdown being easy AF. Gotta think if they release Stage 3 showdowns they'll be even easier.
The biggest thing tho is the time, tho still preferrable to grinding MLB 2018 style

I saw someone mention it was not fair to those who did the grind but your pre-complaining when we have no idea how many TA points will be given out for the catch up. I mean if it's just 10 to 15 then not a super big deal but if it's like 25 to 50 then ok i would understand being annoyed.

I think you only feel that way because you hover around these forums and such. People on these forums and reddit are a minority and are the most die hard grinders.

The 2 points helps. I don't feel they should have helped at all.

My concern isnt the length or difficulty of the catch up moments, its the points. If they add a new moment for 2 points, that isnt exactly going to help. Showdown by far is the best bang for the buck, but you can work your [censored] of for 90 minutes and blow the final boss come away empty handed. Some people are so good they can jump straight to the boss and have 20 points for 1k stubs.
Yesterday i finally had a perfect SD run on the NL west. But man it was touch and go, could have easily lost 3 of them that would have been 6 runs. But since i switched camera angles they have gotten easier. Still most definitely not easy.
My guess is the moments would be 5 but other moments within were 3 and how many per team?
It sounded like they were only adding 1 moment per team

Plus judging by what people write on here, you'd think every person here pulled Trout from a pack today ...
I just pulled him from a silver exchange pack.

Sadly some of us work 8 to 18 hours a day( I am an essential worker). So it is hard to grind T/A. But at the same time I would not ask for it to be made easier.
Same here with the essential worker. Not coming at you, but they already have made it easier since day 1. When I hear "I wouldn't want it to be easier" I automatically think, should folks have to do X number of the TA1 showdowns on All-Star before being allowed to try them on Veteran?
The game evolves in some way through the entirety of the life cycle. I liked the analogy someone else made about picking up high tier cards when they are new and paying a hefty price, should folks later on buying that card also have to pay a premium? Insert completing collections early as well. Worrying about how anyone completed a part of the game and thinking this is the only way it should ever be done is a little crazy.

This exactly, hence their reaction and adjustment with easing up the difficulty on the original TA1 showdowns.

It’s honestly surprising that so many (even on here and reddit) people have all teams done. I would think the only people who would do that are OCD completionists and youtube/content creators (because it’s basically their job).
-
So, I guess worrying about whether "the (catch up) moments are unfair to those who grinded" is kinda pointless now.
