Double Plays

Why do I feel whenever I have a guy on 1st and hit a ground ball, it is always a double play

You’re not alone. I feel the same

It’s been that way in every The Show game I’ve played. Really have to lay off low pitches with runners on and less than 2 outs unless you have a lot of speed at the plate.

It's a given. no matter who's your hitter, righty vs lefty, lefty vs. righty, righty vs. righty, lefty vs lefty. you're gonna ground into a DP. It's like the sun rising or hitting a perfect/perfect grounder...it's is gonna go right to the SS or 2B.

Double play depth and pitches used to induce double plays are the reasons. I'm sure there is a mental component as well.
