So I've finally worked my way up to Division Series, so my games will start to be on HOF difficulty. I read a lot on here about how All Star is hell because pitching is impossible and games are 15-12 slugfests, but I have not found that to be the case. I'm like 58-34 in Ranked, so not fantastic but not horrible, but my team batting average, all on All Star, is .231, which is pretty much the worst I've seen for someone who plays semi regularly and doesn't have a terrible record. I usually win 3-1 or 4-3, and have won more 1-0 games than I care to admit; if I score 5 or 6 runs that's an offensive explosion for me

So my question is, is there anything I can do to prepare for games on HOF? I practice against the CPU on HOF and Legend, but I find that considerably easier than hitting on All Star in Ranked.
I'm not late on everything so I don't really feel like it's an input lag issue. I try to look fastball and adjust to offspeed, but I'm clearly not having a ton of success. I have a really hard time getting the PCI on the ball, and I wonder if any of you had a breakthrough moment where you discovered what you were doing wrong and were able to fix it. Do you move the PCI and then swing, or is the stick movement basically simultaneous with the button press? Just looking for some tips so I don't embarrass myself.

Dide, you’re in trouble if you think All Star is hard to hit on in RS. HOF is much much higher difficulty than All Star in RS

Yeah, I know, that's why I figured I needed help. For me to hit so poorly I figure there must be something I'm just not getting. Or I just have terrible hand-eye coordination (also possible).

Turn the pitch speed sliders all the way up. Go into custom practice. Go against Chapman on legend. Practice for a while and everything else will look slow mo.

That sounds painful but I'll give it a shot. Thanks!

Yah at first you're gonna wanna bang your head against the wall but once you can see those pitches coming in and square it up you can hit anything. Also quick tip too is rotate your stick before the pitch to warm up your thumb, speeds up your reaction a little.
