DH in NL

Could happen based on current MLB rules. Let's see how this plays out.

I mean it's already in Franchise, March to October etc. I don't know much of anything about coding but you would think it would be a pretty simple copy and paste. However, my experience with IT project teams tells me this feature isn't coming until MLB 2021...

For DD, I like the pitcher spot in the batting line up. Adds a level of strategy and decision making.

It also makes cards like Ohtani fun to use.

I'm hoping they keep DD no DH, they already don't use it for the AL. My reasoning is same as yours, but I'd also add being able to use more players via the bench.

There is no DH in AL vs AL moments in DD. So I dont think we will see DH in DD for 20.
-
DD used to have the option of using DH or no DH along with lineups vs LHP and RHP but people were backing out when they faced a lefty or were the road team so they decided to take the option out and just let you have a single lineup to stop that.
I disagree with that move, but that's why things are the way they are in DD. That being said, once MLB goes to a universal DH I think DD will change over to having a universal DH but if it happens this year I don't think they will make any changes until next year

I'd love a DH in DD.
Makes many more cards useful.. adds more drama, tougher lineups..The only negative I see, is less usage of the bench. Unless you platoon more often.
-
Make the HOME team and allow them to decide OR just do not change it
-
The more I think about it the more I say there needs to be DH in DD. It's tough cutting guys out of your lineup sometimes, and having an extra spot would help that immensely.
-
Problem is you could have your normal R/L/R/L type of lineup but since there would be no need for a bench, you just sub in all your opposites handiness guys to give you a lineup of the best matchups.
A good counter to this would bringing in a new starter to counter their moves after they make them. Hell, I put just warming up Hal before they make any changes would be enough to make them think twice

All this DD&DH is giving me DDDHADHD.

Yeah I get that, but it'd still be worth it imo. I have been bullish on the DH in baseball ever since I was a kid, but I'm sick of having it some places and not others. Either implement it throughout the league or get rid of it altogether. Same thing on The Show.

I am very pro DH in real life. I think in DD and Ranked we need the pitcher spot to bat to drive us to use the bench.
