Events would be a lot more fun if we didn’t get matched up with superior competition

It’s hard enough to Enjoy the game. To make matters worse i can’t even win an event game

I’m 8-1 in events so far, but I will admit, I’m playing World Series players every match. Lol

I don't know how anyone can bother with online games. Too much lag makes it a different experience than playing a friend on the same TV or the comp. I have to change the way I play. It's not fun.

Ya it’s just demoralizing. At least in madden they have match making. Ex on weekend league.

Most people arent even playing event games to win.

It’s a 3 inning game.
Anyone can win.
Just relax and try to grind out stats. Will make events more enjoyable. Wins will come naturally if your just playing and Having fun.
It sucks your having a bad experience. Hope it gets better.

I wish people took it less seriously. I come in swinging and see what happens. Then my opponent is working full counts and being patient, never throwing strikes. I can’t really blame them but I’m not using my ranked seasons approach. Let’s bang these games out and have fun.

Oddly events seem to be where I play best. I'm still not good, but I can hit pretty consistently and pitch alright. That goes for all events regarding hitting, not just this Moonshot series.
I don't know, I really don't care if I win or lose, maybe that has something to do with it. Like tonight I'm just hoping to use gold Jackie to get hits and SBs, then I have to work on the moments. And try to prestige Hanley as well.

With bronze pitchers on Allstar, even WS players can get lit up and lose. Be patient, and outhit your opponent.
Hopefully some perfect perfect lineouts fall your way.... Baseball... -

It should take event ranking into account though. If I'm 3-12 in the current event it should be trying to match me with someone else with a well beliw 500 record.

What would help, would be making the elimination number higher, so your ranking can be affected more before it resets

I mean, I don't know. I dont care too much personally, but I can see where it can be frustrating getting matched up with world series players over and over when you aren't very good.

What I find crazy is that all last event long I was facing prestige level players around 75% of the time. I must be out of the loop, but I have played a couple hours a day since launch and I am only gold 60ish.

In past years i completed every event. I always found my better games were against the better opponents and id struggle against teams full of silvers and bronze. Havent played that much this year bc no matter how bad hitting was in the past, the pitching was always good till this year. Now you try to throw a curve in the dirt with good release and it ends up the middle of the happy zone. I do like the reward structure though and found i dont curse as much.

Lots of folks this year who are home 24 x 7 due to COVID who are playing 10+ hours/day.. Easy to get to prestige when you have the time.. -
