Still seeing inconsistency with the hitting? Playing showdown I put numerous good swings (arrow in the green close to perfect) on pitches right down the middle and zero contact, whiff. But the cpu swings are in yellow and hit hard gappers to the wall. What am i missing???

It's always been inconsistent and seems worse with the patch since you have more ways to verify the inconsistency. However I find it's near impossible to miss the ball vs the CPU. Everything is contact unless you are too early/late.

You're missing the ball. Jokes aside I've seen a lot of posts on here from you about RNG and how showdown is fixed. If you spent as much time playing and practicing as you did coming up with conspiracy theories you would get better and see a lot of problems dissappear. All the problems? Definitely not because the game isn't perfect by any means but a lot of the problems you post sound more like user error.

Good swing timing on a pitch down the middle is not user error. Because most good swings on ANY pitch will get some type of contact. Just saying that the hitting was not addressed, they dressed up the buggy hitting to make it look better than it is. And I really don't want to bash them (which I have multiple times) but I just dont get how a game can get progressively worse year to year

Anytime a good swing on a meat ball is missed that's more of the RNG in play more than user input. People talk about skill like a lot of the swings put on balls do not have random outcomes

There was nothing in the patch that changed hitting, they just have a more detailed breakdown in the feedback.

OK fair enough, that's what I'm seeing and hearing now. I just wish they would fix the actual hitting problem and not dress it up like it is new and improved.

Because a lot of people that complain and say "rng" or "all my perfect/perfect hits are outs" are exaggerating what is happening to them out of frustrationg which I understand. When the game first came out I thought a lot of things were fixed against me and then I started tracking hits and being more patient at the plate and now when I lose I understand what I did wrong to cause it instead of blaming the game. Like I said the games not perfect but nowhere near the dumpster fire some people make it out to be

Yeah the game has a few redeeming qualities, but the hitting could use a major overhaul

It is literally impossible to miss a pitch down the middle with good timing if your pci is on it. Are you using directional?
