Lol, people are literally doing that even easier in online games. Even naming their teams HR to Didi and belli and I quit

This isn't one of those things you can change during a game cycle, all the people who have already grinded it out online would be pissed. Its also one of those things where the only way to make it fair is if you had to play on Legend, get stats while playing the full game and win or they don't count. Something crazy like that.

First, most people getting these now are doing them in the events and ruining gameplay for everyone else. Second, why would people be pissed, are you that insecure that it upsets you when people have the same stuff you do. Even on rookie vs cpu, it would take 40 4-hit 9 inning games just to get Mantle done. This isn’t even remotely the same as the immortal grinds since those were for generic positions and these are for specific players.

The online requirements for these don’t require skill, just grinding.

There’s always going to be a few cards you can only get by playing online. It is what it is.

I HATE playing OFFline. Moments and showdown are boring af to me. So there’s plenty of offline grind cards that I cannot get either.

If you want ALL the cards, you have to play ALL the game modes.

If prestige stats were available offline everyone would have them done in a day. Remember the stat grinds of 2018? They were HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS of hits and people grinded them in 12 hours.

Prestige players should be treated as an achievement and not something you can just grind out against the cpu. I’ve got a prestige Sheffield who absolutely rips and I had to earn it playing. I’d be ticked if something played and quit 100 rookie games and got him in a day or two which we all know would happen.

What if the offline requirements were higher and it was offline HOF or above? I think that would be more than fair for prestige.

It does require skill if you do it the right way. I dont hand anyone prestige stats nor do I ask for them. I dont even have anyone prestiged yet but I'm gonna feel proud and like I actually earned it when I do.

Sheffield rips too? Thought it was just Larkin.

Most people right now are doing this in an event vs bronze pitchers and quitting after their prestige players bat. That is no different than grinding vs cpu.

a lot of people yes but not everyone. The people that need to do that probably still won't be able to hit with the prestige version anyways so whatever.

It’s not about needing to do it, vs not caring about event rewards and wanting to get prestige done quickly.

Maybe have a permanent event/program solely for stat grinds, that's what it's evolved into anyway.
