You both sound like children. It's a video game. Grow up

Bad kitty.

Lmao well then. That’s what you get for whining and not telling the whole story... but idk who would be proud of what you did besides a 10 year old.

I would suggest just turning messages to friends only. Despite years and years of the garbage I heard on halo, COD and Madden funny enough MLB the show's community was the one that finally made me decide to shut off messages.
Dude...people say other communities are more toxic, but I share your experience. Never even thought about turning off messages before this year's game. Since I have, it's become a much more pleasant experience.
What’s crazy is I initially had to turn my messages off playing 2k. People would always say crazy things after losing. I need to turn them back on for this game I think it’d be fun to add a little toxicity to my life.

Just matched up with a WS player in the event. I played it out like I do all my games. Trying to get stars and online stats. The guy absolutely laid down the smack on me. After the game he messaged me just going off about how he throttled me. I mean seriously wow man.
I turned my messages off in '17.

Seems like everyone got so caught up in prestiging their players that everyone completely lost sight of what the point of events are in the first place:a casual online experience without the BS of RS and without the sweatiness of BR. I understand wanting to prestige players, but both intentionally walking prestige players and boosting/begging for stats is ridiculous. It doesn’t matter if the rewards for this event are garbage or not, both sides of this post are ruining the game for people that just want to play, which is more than the posters of here and Reddit that think the +3 matters for literally anything but fielding
I think more people would be focused on the event if there were cards as rewards not just packs

I really doubt it. People were doing the same thing in the switch it up event and Murray was a pretty solid reward

Wait, is the event meant to get prestige, or does it happen to be set in a way that makes it easier to prestige? There's a difference.

I like the cards though. They should maybe make it easier to get them or make the games always 3 innings. What makes you play events?

Events has always been my favorite mode. Short games, you get to use the lineup of your choice and you don’t have the BS or RS of facing the same pitchers every game. I do get where people are coming from wanting to prestige their guys but imo the +3 boost isn’t make or break like people make it out to be. It takes away some of the appeal of having a prestige card when people boost for it. I don’t like online missions at all because of this toxicity, but the gotta have it now mentality completely ruined events

Yeah I can’t play ranked all day. I usually find myself grinding for a card or playing BR/Events. I typically only play ranked at the end of the season. I made a mistake and played a lot at the beginning so I matched up against goons and lost. I actually matched up against ScuffyMcgee
