Hopefully he’s the missing piece to my WS push. I’ve always liked his cards and he’s one of my favorite players of all time. But the real question is, how does he play in the game?

Haven’t played with him but the one time I’ve faced him on RS he went 3/4 w 3 no doubters. Could’ve obviously been user error on my part but I shut down the rest of the squad

His Signature Series card hit more HRs than any other in the game last year. Across all users.

His hitting stats are kinda underwhelming but he's still got that great swing. I haven't caught fire with him but that's mostly vs the CPU

I bought him a few nights ago just to see if he had that Griffey magic and while I hit a few homeruns with him, in my small sample size, I did find his contact ratings to be a bit of problem if -- and only if -- you've got other elite outfielders (i.e. Mantle, Trout, Sheffield, Kemp, Reggie Jackson, etc.) already that you can play instead.
My experience was about 20 at-bats so obviously this isn't worth much but I figured I'd chime in because I have used him. I will say that -- ultimately, at his current price -- he's worth it until the best Griffey Jr. card inevitably releases.

I’ve been wondering about picking him up with the stub sale. I tried him in home run derby just to remind myself of that swing. I’ll probably pick him up.
Maybe it’s common knowledge but they have his hat backwards when he’s in the home run derby. I thought that was a cool touch.
