Gaming Monitor
-
Over the last six months or so, I've been going back, and forth on if I should buy a Gaming Monitor or not.
I simply can't pick up the pitches playing online (Ranked Seasons) you can tell me what your throwing, and I would still swing, and miss.
So today I bought a MSI 27' Gaming Monitor. I can honestly say it makes a difference in picking up the pitches (at least for me) now I'm not saying this time next week I'll be a world series player.
If you're debating about getting a Gaming Monitor I highly recommend getting one. -
Had the same experience. I've mostly been an offline gamer until the past 2 years, and only about 8 months of playing DD. About two weeks ago I finally caved and got an ASUS gaming monitor. My gameplay has improved significantly. Even went on an 8 game win streak in RS at one point. I haven't reached WS quite yet, but I think I can get there before this season ends.

I’ve heard that monitors don’t make much of a difference for sports games as they do in shooters like cod. I had one briefly but that was years ago and I do fine on tv.

I was playing on my TV in game mode for a while, and just recently hooked it up to the gaming monitor I use for PC. I noticed the difference right away, being early on 100+ MPH pitches. I am a little better at hitting inside pitches now. I still suck, but I'm less suckier.

Honestly it didn’t make much of a difference for me in The Show when I got a monitor. Was a CS player pre-monitor and am still a CS player...Where it did make a HUGE difference was in Call of Duty & Battlefront. I went from being a middle of the pack player to finishing on top the leaderboard most games.
