@baseballfan2446 dude holy [censored] you are dumb. You just asked me why I would throw a pitch way out of the strike zone with an 0-2 count against one of the best hitters in the game. Do you ever watch baseball? Sure I'll give him a [censored] high sinker and see how that one goes next time. It's my fault I'm just terrible at the game.
Do you even watch baseball? Why intentionally throw a pitch in the dirt when you know your catcher sucks? There's plenty of ways to get Sheffield out without throwing a wild pitch if you actually bother to think about it lol.

@jhaberle not saying the tag in reality shouldn’t of been made, I’ve never tried it but I’m assuming if you lock in on a fly ball then yank the stick to move him out of the lock in he wouldn’t catch it

But I'd say tag animations should be improved as far as the time from catch to tag. These players are professional athletes who have elite reflexes, I'd expect something better, at least according to ratings.
They just absolutely refuse to make this realistic. The stupid long animations on plays from OF'ers to the tags being as slow as they can possibly make them. Sure, upon release they look pretty good, then just get worse as the year goes on.

Yup, I'd pay more money to see a special Javier Baez tag animation actually play out in-game. The tags at second, third, and home are ridiculously slow when in actuality it's a bang-bang play that happens in a small fraction of a second. But tags during steals seem better this year, to the extent that it's actually hard to steal bases when you get a quality throw.

So baseball is one of the oddest games in the world without a doubt because there’s still things that happen in a game that have never happened before so showing videos is honestly pointless because there’s enough out there to help prove whatever you are arguing so showing videos is a mute point. With that said I think this play in reality was 50/50 programming issue and user input. To me it looks like you pulled him out of the lock in causing him to miss the tag, don’t know why you didn’t just stay in the lock in and not move, but whatever. Yes hopefully the programming should still allow him to tag the runner as he ran right by him, but I do understand that you left the lock in so it didn’t complete the tag. The game has flaws without a doubt that need to be fixed, but I do see a valid sensible reason why the tag wasn’t made.

@CCCStunna30 the point of my video was simply to show him "why I would throw that pitch out of the zone 0-2" like this is one of the most simple concepts in baseball. Making a batter chase 0-2.
